Advertisements
An advertisement is a way to congratulate your child, share memories with friends, or promote your business. The yearbook has dedicated space for these advertisements which is available for purchase in sixth-page increments. Larger advertisements are a better value for your money!
Ordering
Advertisements can be purchased by filling out the order form. Download a yearbook and advertisement order form (PDF). After you submit an order form and payment, we will contact you to work out the details of composing your advertisement.
Composing Your Ad
There are several ways to create your advertisement. Some advertisers choose to provide us with a completely finished advertisement. Most of the time, however, advertisers provide us with a short piece of text and a photo or set of photos.
If you wish to provide us with a finished advertisement, see below for the technical specifications for your particular ad size. If you need more details, email us at yearbook@olin.edu.
If you have digital photos, you can email us the images and any text or instructions at yearbook@olin.edu.
If you have printed photographs, you can mail the photos to us at:

You may include any instructions or text with the photographs or email them to us at yearbook@olin.edu. If you would like your photos back, please specify so in your instructions and include a return address.
Either way, we will compose your advertisement according to the directions you provide. We will email a draft to you for your review, and you can request any changes at that time. We are glad to provide whatever help you need to produce the ad you want.
Specifications
Different sizes of advertisements are available to fit any message and budget. The table below gives the exact sizes allowed for advertisements (all advertisements are printed in full color):

If you will be designing your advertisement yourself, you can submit it to us (by email at yearbook@olin.edu) in most common graphics formats. Please use a resolution of 300 pixels/inch, and CMYK color if possible. If you will be using Adobe Photoshop, templates are available for all sizes of advertisement:
